Welcome to my Research page.
My largest piece of research to date is my Ph.D. thesis. More details of which can be found by clicking on the Thesis local link in the left hand menu.
A large part of my Ph.D. involved the development of the AutoMix software - my first steps towards an automatic reversible jump Markov chain Monte Carlo sampler. The software, implemented as a C program is available for download by clicking on the AutoMix link in the left hand menu. The distribution contains user instruction and examples.
A list of other publications (completed during my Ph.D.) is available by clicking on the Publications link in the left hand menu. Some of the research is ongoing, in particular, my projects with Prof. Michael Newton, at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Any papers resulting from this research will be added to this site.
The nature of my current job involves considerable research, constantly looking at ways to find an edge by improving our current statistical models. Due to the nature of the industry, most of this research will remain confidential. However, any models which we release for more general use will be presented on the Sports page, accessible from the local link in the left hand menu.
